Alkalies, all forms of solvents, alcohols, ketones, esters, oils, acids, hot water, boiler lye, brine, ammonia.

Exceptions: heavily oxidising acids.
 

KOMBILON 6742 is an elastic combination braid made from carbon and PTFE yarns.  It is impregnated with a special PTFE compound and running-in lubricant.

The unique construction of KOMBILON 6742 provides a very low coefficient of friction and exceptional resilience making it ideal for mixer or agitator applications.

The packing maintains its elasticity even after prolonged operation and under high contact pressure. The specially processed carbon yarns ensure excellent flexibility and shaft protection.

This packing is certified by the Fraunhofer-Institute for process engineering and packaging as suitable for use in food processing machinery according to FDA US 21 CFR 170.3 (i) and to article 3 of the EU directive 1935/2004.
